HTC has 9 Promotional Videos for the One A9

This morning in New York City, HTC announced a brand new device, after it had been leaked a thousand times. It’s a sub-$400 smartphone although it is a bit mid-range. We’re looking at a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM  with 32GB of storage and a 2150mAh battery powering it all. It also has a 13MP camera around back, which the company states is a pretty good camera and appears to be pretty decent so far. The HTC One A9 is coming to Sprint, but they are also making it available from their own store at HTC.com which will start pre-orders today for $399.

As is usual, HTC has posted a few promotional videos for the new HTC One A9. In fact, they posted nine of them this time around, likely to play off of the One “A9” aspect. But anyways, we have them all listed down below for you to check out. The first promotional video talks about the audio quality in the One A9, which has 24-bit audio. Great for all of the audiophiles out there. There is also the announcement video which goes over many of the features of the HTC One A9, from the camera, to the audio and everything in between. HTC also has a video showcasing Google Now on Tap which is a feature of Marshmallow, and the HTC One A9 is the first smartphone – outside of the Nexus line – to launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. They also have a promotional video about the pro mode in the camera. As it does include RAW capture, which is something that most professional photographers love.

Overall, the HTC One A9 appears to be a pretty spectacular smartphone. We’ll have one in hand soon to do a full review on. But at $399, it does have some stiff competition from the ZTE Axon Pro, the Moto X Pure Edition/Style, OnePlus 2 and a few other great smartphones available. It’s great to see some great smartphones coming in at the under $400 price point. And available unlocked. That’s something that the US has slowly been moving towards recently.
