HTC has certainly had its fair share of headlines this year. While they all initially revolved around the One M9 and the current financial standing of the company, more recently, there has been a headline momentum shift to what is commonly known as the HTC One A9. This is the latest smartphone from HTC, which is now expected to be released next week on October 20th.
Over the past few weeks and months, many reports have come through detailing the suspected specs of the One A9 along with a number of images and renders highlighting what the One A9 will look like. However, there has been some contradiction with certain images and the price still is an element which has remained unknown. Previous reports has suggested that the price could be as high as $800 and that a European listing has also recently stated it will be around the €700 marker.
Well, days before the release and a new listing from the carrier, Orange, in France, has now popped up which clearly suggests the price of the One A9 will be about 600 Euros. In fact, the listing specifically notes the price as €599.90, which roughly equates to about $688 in the U.S. To accompany the revealing of the price, the listing also shows off some extremely clear renders of the device which represent some of the best images that we have seen so far of the One A9. Not to mention the images are available for both the grey and white variants of the device. The listing also seems to be confirming a number of the specs and specifically details that the One A9 will indeed come with a 5-inch display, which sports a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Cameras on offer are listed as a 13-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with a 4-megapixel front facing camera. The listing also details that the One A9 will come running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. With HTC’s Sense UI over the top of course. With only a week until the official unveil is expected to take place, it wont be long until we find out how accurate these specs and images actually are.
