HTC One E9s Is Now Official In India, Costs $312

HTC has recently unveiled a new variant of the HTC One M9+, the One M9+ Aurora Edition, and the international variant of J Butterfly, called the Butterfly 3. That being said, we’re still waiting for HTC to unveil their ‘Hero’ device which has been teased so many times before. This smartphone will be announced at the end of this month, and as we’re waiting for that to happen, HTC keeps on releasing devices in markets around the world. The newest addition to HTC’s offerings in India is the HTC One E9s Dual SIM, read on.

The HTC One E9s Dual SIM just got announced in India by the company. The HTC One E9s is yet another mid-range addition to the Indian smartphone market, and the device sports a 5.5-inch 720p (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752M octa-core SoC running at 1.5GHz, and packs in a 2,600mAh battery on the inside. The 13-megapixel BSI shooter is available on the back of this phone, and an UltraPixel camera can be found on the front side of this smartphone. Two SIM card slots are available on the inside, and HTC’s BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers are a part of this HTC package as well. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and HTC’s custom Sense UI skin is available on top of Google’s operating system. The device measures 157.7 x 79.7 x 7.64, while it weighs 165 grams, and it’s also worth mentioning that 4G LTE connectivity is offered here as well.

The HTC One E9s Dual SIM will have to fight off a lot of competition in India considering there are many mid-rangers currently available over there. Unfortunately for HTC, a number of those are more affordable than the HTC’s newest offering. The HTC One E9s Dual SIM costs Rs. 20,497 ($312) in India, and is available in Luxury White, Meteor Gray and Roast Chestnut color options. That’s pretty much it, HTC is expected to announce their new flagship on October 20th, and judging by the company’s teasers, it will be a rather interesting device. Stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back as soon as possible.
