HTC One E9s Renders Leak, Mid-Range Specs In Tow

HTC has announced a number of new devices in the last couple of months. The company has unveiled their 2015 flagship, the One M9. That smartphone was followed by the announcements of One M9+ and One E9+, both of which are high-end smartphones. These two devices are available in Asia only, and it seems like it will stay that way. Another device that launched in Asia, Japan to be precise, is the HTC Butterfly 3. That being said, we’ve seen a number of leaks regarding company’s soon-to-be-announced devices. The One ME9 has leaked recently, and now we have yet another leak to share with you.

The HTC E9s renders have surfaced in China. This handset has actually been certified in China a while back, and now we know how will it look like. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll see this handset showcased in three different color options. It’s fairly easy to see that his is an HTC-branded device without even looking at the logo below the display. Unlike the One M9+ and the leaked ME9, this thing won’t sport a physical home button below the display. It seems like its camera is going to protrude on the back a bit, and it looks like this thing will be made out of metal. BoomSound speakers will be on board as well, as it’s the case with the majority of HTC’s devices this year.

The HTC E9s will feature a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) AMOLED display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This thing will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and will ship with a 2,600mAh battery. The 13-megapixel camera will be available on the back of this handset, and the phone will almost certainly going to ship with Android Lollipop pre-installed, we’re still not sure which version though. HTC’s Sense UI will be installed on top of Google’s operating system, as always. There you have it folks, this is the HTC E9s, the company’s upcoming mid-ranger. Judging by the amount of leaked info lately, HTC might launch this thing soon, stay tuned.
