Huawei Honor 7 is one of many compelling devices this company has released this year. This smartphone has launched back in July in China, and has rolled out to Europe two months ago. This smartphone is made out of metal and it really does look quite sleek. Its specs are quite compelling as well, and the price point isn’t all that high either, which makes it quite appealing to consumers, at least according to the company’s sales numbers. That being said, it seems like Huawei Honor 7 will roll out to one more country really soon, read on.
According to a new report, Huawei will launch the Honor 7 smartphone in India before the end of this week (October 7th). ‘Honor’ is actually a subsidiary of Huawei now, but this si still the company’s smartphone. The device will be available exclusively via Flipkart, and this is expected to be one of the best-selling Huawei-branded devices in India. Huawei is aiming to sell 1.5-2 million devices in India before the end of this year, and Honor 7 will certainly help them do that. Huawei has announced the Honor 7i handset quite recently as well, but we still don’t have any info regarding its availability in India, we’ll let you know if anything changes.
As far as Honor 7’s specifications go, this smartphone sports a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS-NEO LCD display along with 3GB of RAM and 16/64GB of native storage (expandable). This handset will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core processor along with a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU for graphics. The 20-megapixel camera (PDAF included) will be available on the back of the Honor 7, and an 8-megapixel snapper will be located up front. The 3,100mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and same can be said about a fingerprint scanner which is located on the phone’s back. The Honor 7 offers 4G LTE connectivity, and also packs in two SIM card slots. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 (EMUI) installed on top of Google’s operating system.
