Looks Like the Galaxy Note 5 is Coming to Ukraine

When the Samsung Galaxy Note 5  was first announced, people throughout the world got excited to learn about the device and when it would be launched in their country. But unfortunately for the European market, it was already decided that the Galaxy Note 5 would not be coming to this part of the world. Instead of being able to enjoy the latest Galaxy Note model, consumers only have the Galaxy S6 edge+ to be excited about.

And of course, who wouldn’t be excited about the latest Galaxy Note 5? The device is packed with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and 518 ppi density. Beneath the surface runs an Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit processor with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and an option of either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The device is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and comes with NFC and a fingerprint scanner. Included is a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. The improved Samsung S Pen stylus now features the ability to jot down notes on the screen while the display is off.

Despite the earlier announcement, rumors speculated that the South Korean manufacturer could be bringing the phablet to European markets by the start of next year. Even though this is something many would want to see happen, there seems to be no official word on how reliable the rumor is. And considering there is still no information available to back up this claim, there just seems to be no plan for Samsung to bring the Galaxy Note 5 in European countries. That is, except for Ukraine.

Due to insistent demand, however, Samsung has finally succumbed and has just announced that they will be accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 5 starting October 28, 2015. Since Ukraine is the only country in Europe where Samsung devices can directly be purchased from, it only seems logical that the phone manufacturer chose to make the Galaxy Note 5 available there. The 32GB variant has a price of $919.50 (19,999 UAH) for either a black or gold color option. No further announcements have been made with regards to the availability of the 64GB variant.
