Letv rumors have been all over the place lately. This China-based company has unveiled three handsets back in April, which are also their first ever smartphones. Letv is not a new company, but they are new to the smartphone game. Despite that, they’ve managed to create a lot of traction already, and are looking to expand all over the globe in the near future. Letv will land in the US soon, and they’re also holding a press conference on October 27th where they will allegedly introduce their second-gen Letv Le Max device, or even a couple of devices.
We’ve already seen a ton of Letv Le Max 2 rumors thus far, but they just keep on coming. Back when Letv announced their October 27th event, they shared an image containing a big number ‘2’, as well as ‘Apple’ naming next to it. It’s not exactly a secret that Letv doesn’t like Apple all that much, but it seems like they’re aiming at the Cupertino giant once again. Letv has released two new teasers, touting the fingerprint scanning and image taking capabilities of their upcoming handset. The first teaser says that the fingerprint scanner on the upcoming handset will be better than Touch ID that you can find on Apple’s iPhone devices. The second teaser, on the other hand, says that the camera on the upcoming device will be better than the one on… you guessed it, Apple iPhone 6S. Letv really takes every opportunity to aim Apple with their teasers and what not, it will surely going to be interesting to see what their upcoming device(s) has to offer.
It is also worth mentioning that Letv also teased the display on their upcoming device(s). It seems like the upcoming handset(s) will feature a QHD (2560 x 1440) panel, and Letv has once again mentioned Apple in that teaser. Either way, the Letv Le Max 2 has been rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC, and Letv has also teased that their upcoming device will ship with the Snapdragon 820 on the inside a couple of times now. If Letv announces a Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone(s) in a week, we won’t see it / them available for a while, because the Snapdragon 820 SoCs won’t be available for mass production until Q1 2016.
