Meizu Blue Charm Metal's Specs, Design & Pricing Info Leaks

As many of you know by now, Meizu has scheduled yet another press conference a while back. This China-based smartphone OEM will introduce a new device tomorrow, October 21st. The company has already released a number of compelling devices this year, with Meizu PRO 5 being the latest one, and the company’s flagship at the same time. Well, it seems like the company plans to announce a mid-range handset tomorrow, the Blue Charm Metal handset. This smartphone will be the first handset from the company’s ‘Blue Charm’ line of device which will be made out of metal. Keep in mind that Meizu’s ‘Blue Charm’ line is actually an ‘M’ line internationally.

That being said, this smartphone will almost certainly going to be powered by YunOS, so it remains to be seen if Meizu will stick with the same naming. That being said, the device’s product page leaked recently, and basically revealed pretty much all the details when it comes to this device, from its design and specs all the way to its pricing. The Meizu Blue Charm Metal will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.0GHz, and a 3,140mAh battery (5V/2A fast charging) will also be a part of this package. The physical home button below the display will double as a fingerprint scanner, and as already mentioned, this phone will be made out of metal. The 13-megapixel camera will be available on the back of the Meizu Blue Charm Metal, and a 5-megapixel snapper will be located up front. The device will run Alibaba’s YunOS version 3.1.6.

This smartphone will be available in a number of color options, including Pink, Blue, Gold, Gray and White. Speaking of which, you can check out all of these color options in the gallery down below if you’re interested. That’s pretty much it, the Meizu Blue Charm Metal seems like a repackaged Meizu M2 Note with a different OS on the inside. Alibaba is a very popular company in China, but it remains to be seen how well will a handset with their OS pre-installed sell, the fact that it’s manufactured by Meizu is only a plus for them. Anyhow, this smartphone will almost certainly going to be available in China only. Stay tuned for more info, the press conference will take place tomorrow.
