We’ve talked quite a bit about Letv lately considering we’ve seen a number of leaked material when it comes to this China-based company. Letv has released their first three smartphones back in April, and according to latest reports, their sales are going really well. The company has announced Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max devices back in April, and is calling them ‘Le Superphones‘. That being said, Letv has already teased their October 27th event, and we’ve seen a couple of leaks surface pointing to a Le Max 2 announcement at the said event, read on.
A new leak surfaced earlier today saying that Letv will announce at least two flagship devices at the event. This leak is coming from @Upleaks, and if this is true, it is possible that Letv intends to announce their second-gen Le Superphone devices. The leak doesn’t say that Letv will announce two devices, but ‘at least’ two devices, which suggests we might actually see Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 announced at the event. This is pure speculation at this point, but it seems like the company will bring forth some hardware this time as well.
Letv has already teased that they’ll announce a Snapdragon 820-powered handset soon, but considering that chip won’t be available before Q1 2016, it’s somewhat unrealistic to expect Letv will showcase a Snapdragon 820-powered handset on October 27th, though you never know I guess. Anyhow, according to the leaked material, the Le Max 2 will be launched at the event and will sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x1440) display. If this info is accurate, the second-gen Le Max phablet will sport a much smaller display than its predecessor which shipped with a 6.3-inch panel. The Le Max 2 will reportedly include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC. The 21-megapixel camera was also mentioned in a couple of leaks, and you can also expect this phablet to be made out of metal, just like its predecessor was. The launch event is not that far away, in the meantime, stay tuned for more leaked info, something will probably pop up in the coming days.
