Sony Xperia Z5 is one of the three devices Sony announced during IFA in Berlin last month. This Japan-based company has unveiled Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact last month. The Xperia Z5 is a high-end handset, and is very similar to the Xperia Z5 Premium, though unlike the ‘Premium’ model, it doesn’t ship with a 4K display, but a 1080p (1920 x 1080) panel. The Xperia Z5 has been available for purchase in certain parts of the world, and Sony has also introduced the device in India earlier today.
That being said, the Xperia Z5 (Dual) has just become available to customers in the US thanks to Expansys, a US-based retailer. So, those of you who live in the US and are interested in purchasing one of Sony’s new flagships, you can do that now for $699.99. The Xperia Z5 (Dual) features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080, 424 PPI) Triluminous display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage (expandable up to 200GB via microSD card). This handset is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 23-megapixel shooter (Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.3-inch sensor) is available on the back of the Xperia Z5, and a 5-megapixel snapper (Exmor R sensor, 25mm wide-angle lens) is located on the phone’s front side. The device comes with IPX5 / IPX8 rating for water and dust resistance, a fingerprint scanner, and a 2,900mAh battery with STAMINA mode. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 is also here, and Sony has included the DSEE HX audio technology & LDAC codec as well. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes out of the box with Sony’s custom UI available on top of Google’s operating system. The Xperia Z5 measures 146 x 72 x 7.3mm, while it weighs 154 grams. 4G LTE connectivity is available here as well, and same can be said about Bluetooth 4.1 LE. It is also worth mentioning that this is a ‘Dual’ variant of the phone, so you have the dual-SIM capability at your disposal as well.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual is available in Graphite Black, White, Gold and Green color options via Expansys, in case you were wondering. As already mentioned, the device is priced at $669.99, and those of you who live in the US and are interested in purchasing one, can do that now by following the source link down below.
