Every single year Google releases a new Nexus device to the masses, and every year it seems it’s been met with a little more excitement, of course, not without a few disappointments according to some. This year Google introduced the Huawei Nexus 6P, which is on track to be the most popular Nexus phone so far. All the more reason to head to Google’s website and pick one up when they become available because they’re currently hard to get a hold of. As one would have it the Nexus 6P has been restocked in the Google Store in a few different model variations for anyone who hasn’t had the chance yet to pick one up.
Having said this, keep in mind that not all options are available. There is currently no stock at of the Aluminum model in 128GB size, and the Frost model can only be picked up in the 128GB variation. The Graphite model however, is available for purchase in every storage size. So that means if you want one from Google at the $499 price tag right now you can go with either the Graphite or Aluminum colors. If you’re interested in the Nexus 6P and you don’t care much about which color you choose, acting fast is a strong recommendation if you want the best chance the stock won’t run out, as there is no telling how quickly they will be all snatched up.
The Nexus 6P is one of the first phones to come boxed running Android Marshmallow, and it’s one of the first Nexus devices to come equipped with a fingerprint sensor for use with mobile payments and an extra layer of security, alongside the other Nexus phone released this year; the Nexus 5X from LG. The Nexus 6P carries a 5.7-inch AMOLED WQHD display and a 12.3MP rear-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It also has an 8MP front camera capable of HD video capture at 30fps, and a 3450mAh battery that should help it last all day and then some. Costs will start at $499, and go all the way up to $649 if you pick the 128GB version, and as a reminder for anyone who may have missed it during the initial announcement last month, the Nexus 6P is compatible with Project Fi.
