UMi Zero 2 Will Sport 4GB Of RAM & Liquid Metal Build

UMi has released a couple of devices this year, and some of them are really compelling. The UMi Iron and eMax handsets are well built and quite solid offerings, and same can be said about the company’s Voix Blu Bluetooth headphones. That being said, this China-based smartphone manufacturer has been teasing their new handset for quite some time, the UMi Zero 2. The company has been teasing the phone to sport a 20-megapixel camera, and two displays, and now they’ve released a new teaser on their official website. That’s not all though, our source at the company has managed to send us some additional details to go with this teaser, read on.

If you take a look at the image above this article, you’ll see a small part of the upcoming UMi Zero 2 smartphone. This device will be made out of Liquid Metal, part of which you can see in the image. Its back side will apparently have some sort of a texture, perhaps even leather, that’s at least what it looks like in this image. Liquid Metal is a very strong material, and it’s definitely a good choice to use it. The device will also pack in 4GB of RAM on the inside, which will make it the first UMi-branded smartphone with 4GB of RAM. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much all the info we have at the moment. We still don’t know when exactly does the company plan to unveil this smartphone, but we do know it will happen before the end of this year.

The UMi Zero 2 will be the company’s new flagships, and if this image and info is any indication, the company plans to release a truly premium device. We’ll try to get more spec info and perhaps an additional image of the device in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.
