As most of you probably know, HTC has released quite a few mid to high-end, and high-end devices this year. The company has announced their One M9 flagship, which was followed by the One M9+, One E9+… and a couple of more devices along with the recently announced One A9. The One A9 can’t exactly be considered a high-end smartphone, but it has more than a decent set of specs. Now, another HTC-branded smartphone has been popping up online recently, the One X9.
We’ve seen a couple of One X9 rumors thus far, including a leaked image of the device as well. According to that info, this will be a mid-range handset, not the premium offering that was rumored a while back. Anyhow, another One X9 image has surfaced, as you can see in the image above this article. This smartphone is actually identical to the previously leaked one, which leads us to believe that this is, in fact, the rumored One X9 smartphone. This time around, however, we get to see the back side fo the device as well. As you can see in the image, both the camera and a dual-LED flash will be located in the upper left corner on the phone’s back.
The One X9 will sport three capacitive buttons below the display, back, home and overview, respectively. BoomSound speakers are going to be included here as well it seems, which is clearly visible in the leaked images. Anyhow, according to rumors, the HTC One X9 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone will be powered by one of MediaTek’s SoCs, and judging by the RAM count on this device, it will be either the Helio X10 or the new Helio P10. The device will sport a 13-megapixel OIS shooter on the back, and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel snapper up front. The 3,000mAh battery has also been mentioned in previous leaks.
That is basically it, this seems to be the upcoming HTC One X9. We still don’t know when will HTC announce this phone, but you can expect it to be unveiled in the coming weeks, that’s for sure.
