We haven’t heard much from Lenovo recently as far as smartphones go, but the company did announce quite a few devices in 2015. According to recent reports, Motorola is actually designing Lenovo’s devices now, so we were expecting to see some changes in the overall design, and that’s exactly what we got. The recently leaked Lenovo Vibe X3 is definitely different than Lenovo’s other smartphones, it sports a rather interesting look overall. A part of that leak was also the rumor that Lenovo plans to launch both the Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Lite on December 16th, but that is not as accurate as we thought, read on.
Lenovo actually went official and announced on the company’s Weibo page that the device will be launched on November 16th. Once launched, the device will be called either the ‘Lemon X3’ or ‘Vibe X3’, it all depends on where you live. That being said, let’s take a look at the phone’s possible specs, shall we. The Lenovo Vibe X3 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor will fuel this handset along with an Adreno 418 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel shooter will be available on the back of the Vibe X3, and an 8-megapixel snapper will be located up front. The 3,500mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and a fingerprint scanner will be located on the back of the phone.
It is also worth mentioning that the Lenovo Vibe X3 will sport with dual front-facing speakers (Dolby ATMOS), and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed here with Lenovo’s custom UI. You’ll also get 4G LTE connectivity as part of this package, of course, and the dual-LED dual tone flash will be located on the back of the phone. So, the phone will be announced in three days in China filmmaker center in Beijing. We’ll make sure to fill you in on the details once Lenovo unveils the phone, though we know pretty much everything there is to know about the phone except its availability and pricing details. Either way, stay tuned.
