New ZUK Z2 Renders Leak Showing Off Its Rotating Camera

ZUK is a relatively new China-based smartphone OEM. This company is backed by Lenovo, and they’ve released one smartphone thus far, the ZUK Z1. This handset has been announced in two variants (Chinese and international), and has been available out in the market for quite some time now. The only difference between the two variants is software, the Chinese one ships with ZUK’s ZUI UI, while the international one comes with Cyanogen OS pre-installed. That being said, ZUK has already teased the Snapdragon 820-powered ZUK Z2 arrival for Q1 2016, and we’ve also seen some leaks when it comes to this phone.

Well, a new leak has surfaced today, and it once again shows off the alleged ZUK Z2 and its rotating camera. I don’t know if you recall, but a similar leak has already surfaced last month. Anyhow, this leak basically shows us more images of that very same device, and as you can see in the images down below, the images are all about the rotating camera up top. It seems like the ZUK Z2 will be made out of metal and glass, which is a huge improvement compared to the first-gen model.

Now, the company has already more or less confirmed that the Snapdragon 820 will fuel this smartphone, but what about its other specs? Well, if rumors are to believed, the ZUK Z2 will be available in both 64 and 128GB variants. This handset will probably sport 3 or 4GB of RAM, and you can expect it to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with Cyanogen OS 13 installed on top of it. We still don’t have any info when it comes to the device’s camera sensors or its display, but judging by the ZUK Z1, this smartphone will have a 5.5”+ display on the inside, and you can also expect a rather big battery here as well. Performance, customizability and battery life were the main characteristics of the ZUK Z1, and you can expect the same from its successor, plus it seems like the ZUK Z2 will be a far more premium handset and sport some unique features as well.
