The Nubia Z11 Leaks; Premium Specs & No Side Bezels

This year was quite exciting and relatively successful for ZTE. The company has released a number of really interesting devices, some of which are available internationally. The company’s Nubia Z9 line of devices has been announced early this year, and it includes the Nubia Z9 handset which sports no bezel on the sides, which makes this phone really sleek-looking and quite interesting. Unfortunately, this handset’s availability is quite limited outside of Asia. The company’s Axon line, on the other hand, is a completely different story. The Axon devices are actually quite a refreshing products, and are available in a number of markets out there.

That being said, it seems like ZTE is preparing to launch yet another bezel-less handset, similar to the Nubia Z9. According to the recent leak, this handset will be called Nubia Z11. You may ask yourself, where is Nubia Z10? Well, ZTE tends to skip even numbers, they’ve released the Nubia Z7 in 2014, Nubia Z9 in 2015 and the Nubia Z11 will probably arrive in Q1 next year, so this leak comes at a right time. If you take a look at the image above this article, you’ll get to see the alleged design of this smartphone, and if accurate, the Nubia Z11 will be a very compelling device in terms of design. As you can see, the Nubia Z11 will be made out of metal, just like its predecessor.

The Nubia Z11 will sport ZTE’s patented FiT (Frame interactive Technology), which we’ve already seen featured in the Nubia Z9. This tech basically lets you interact with the phone (utilizing all sorts of gestures) by touching / swiping on the phone’s sides. Now, this leak actually also mentioned something called ‘arc Refractive Coduction’ technology, which is basically tech which ZTE is using to hide the edge of the display here, which is curved by the way. According to the available info, the Nubia Z11 will feature a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will allegedly going to be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed here, with ZTE’s Nubia UI we presume. The 20.7-megapixel shooter will be available on the back of this phone, and a 13-megapixel snapper will allegedly going to be located up front. The phone will sport a fingerprint scanner on its back, and the phone is expected to be launched in Q1 2016.
