Oukitel is a China-based smartphone OEM who is trying to differentiate themselves from the competition. This company has released a rather capable U10 handset a while back, and has also pushed out o couple of big battery smartphones out to the market, like the K4000 and K6000. Well, Oukitel’s upcoming smartphone is truly interesting. A while back, we’ve reported that the company is preparing to release a smartphone which will pack in a 10,000mAh battery, well, we now have some new info when it comes to that, read on.
The company’s K10000 smartphone popped up in real life images back in July, and now the company has basically confirmed its design. Oukitel has released a rather odd video showcasing K10000’s reverse charge function, which is also available on the K6000 by the way. In the embedded video down below you’ll see a bunch of K10000 units basically powering an electric cooker. The video is somewhat odd considering Oukitel fast forwarded it and showed off more or less the whole cooking process.
That being said, Oukitel didn’t share any spec info at this moment, aside from the fact it will ship with a 10,000mAh battery on the inside. The company has also mentioned that the phone will be available for purchase both in China and the rest of the world, which means they’ll probably sell it via a number of Chinese resellers, as they do with the rest of their phones. The Oukitel K10000 will be announced at the end of this year or early next year according to Oukitel.
We didn’t see any spec info at all, not even leaked info, but we do expect to hear something about that in the coming weeks. This phone will either be a mid-ranger or a higher-end device, but chances are we’ll see a mid-ranger here, just like K4000 and K6000 are. You can expect this device to be rather affordable, and we do hope that it won’t be too thick despite the 10,000mAh battery being included on the inside. That’s more or less it, stay tuned, we’ll report back soon.
