Report: ZTE To Unveil Nubia Z11 In US & China Simultaneously

ZTE is one of the largest China-based smartphone manufacturers. This company has released a number of smartphones this year, and some of them are actually aimed at the international market, which suggests ZTE intends to push their device to more markets in the future. This company has released their Nubia Z9 line this year, as well as the Axon line of devices. A number of Axon devices are now available outside of China, and some of them have actually made it to the US. The Nubia Z9 (and its variants), however, are still bound to Asia, unfortunately.

Well, it seems like the next-gen Nubia-branded handset won’t be available strictly in Asia, at least not according to the latest report. According to the info, the recently leaked Nubia Z11 will launch in both China and the US at the same time. This is actually really interesting considering ZTE is mainly focused on the Chinese smartphone market, but this definitely indicates that the company has started looking beyond China. The Axon line was definitely a step forward, but the Nubia Z11 might be an even more important announcement for ZTE if this report is accurate.

Now, according to a recent leak, the Nubia Z11 will be a true flagship handset. The device will feature ZTE’s FiT (Frame Interactive Technology), which we’ve seen used in a couple of ZTE-branded devices, like the Nubia Z9 for example. The ‘arc Refractive Conduction’ tech has also been mentioned in the latest leak, and you can see what will this handset look like in the gallery down below. As you can see, its display will be curved on the sides, and it actually resembles the Galaxy S6 Edge quite a bit.

The Nubia Z11 is said to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The phone will reportedly going to be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 processor, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed here with ZTE’s Nubia UI. On the back of the phone you’ll be able to find the 20.7-megapixel snapper, and a 13-megapixel shooter will be available up front. This device is expected to arrive in Q1 2016, so stay tuned.
