Tablets continue to be a debatable sub industry of the mobile device market. While smartphones continue to increase in size and Chromebooks, netbooks and laptops continue to become more compact, the tablet market is one which continually being squeezed at both ends. As a result, tablets do need to somewhat find an aspect that they can sell as a unique feature. NVIDIA recently released an updated version of their SHIELD Tablet in the form of the SHIELD Tablet K1 and the obvious selling point for this one is that it is ‘built for gamers’.
Of course, when it comes to Samsung, they decided to make their latest tablet’s unique selling point its size. In fact, in many respects, the Samsung Galaxy View breaks numerous tablet taboos. Mainly because this one comes equipped with an 18.4-inch display. Although, size is not the only big aspect of the Galaxy View Tablet, as it also comes with quite a large price tag too. If you were buying through AT&T then you could pick up the Galaxy View for $499. However, if you were buying through Amazon, then you are looking at an extra $100 premium as the tablet comes with a $599 price tag. Although, in spite of the tablet not being available for that long, it does look like it is seeing a price drop on Amazon as it is currently listed at the $100 cheaper rate of $499.99
In terms of the specs, the Samsung Galaxy View comes equipped with a massive 18.4-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
