Amazon Announce Its Devices Enjoyed A Record Weekend

You might have noticed over the past few days that it has been the deals weekend. This is of course thanks to the weekend being the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. As a result, there was a ton of offers available. Of course, when it comes to sales and deals, it was always likely that Amazon would be the first port of call for many people and as a result, the weekend was always likely to pull in some big figures for the company. Amazon has now confirmed that the weekend was a record breaking weekend for the company with millions of devices sold and more than three times what was sold last year. In terms of specifics, Amazon notes that there top selling devices were actually Amazon devices, with the Fire tablet, the Fire TV and the Fire TV Stick being some of the best sellers. According to Amazon, Fire TV Sales were more than six times higher over this Holiday Weekend compared to the last. In fact, when it comes to Amazon products, it seems the Amazon Echo was the company’s best selling device over Black Friday. While tablets seemed to be a big seller for the company as well, with Amazon announcing tablet sales in general were up more than three times what they were for the same period last year. Overall, it seems the Amazon range of products saw significant gains over previous years and generations and Amazon believe this is likely to continue and especially in regards to the price point that they have managed to hit with their Fire tablet.
