Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2016. The company’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge flagship smartphones have been really popular this year, and so have the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus phablets. The Galaxy S7 has been surfacing for months now, we’ve seen tons of leaks, and some of them conflict with each other, so we’re not entirely sure who to believe at this point. It is quite possible, though, that the Galaxy S7 will be similar to its predecessor in terms of the overall design, and Samsung Mobile’s new President said that the company is putting a heavy focus on software and services.
That being said, according to @evleaks’ recent tip, Samsung actually plans to release the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, and Galaxy S7 Plus variants of this device. Well, a new leak popped up and shared the alleged cases for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see a couple of different accessories in a number of colors. Judging by the camera and flash cutout, the placement of the phone’s camera will be similar to the one on the Galaxy S6, the phone’s volume rockers will be placed on the left, and the power / lock button will remain on the right-hand side.
Now, this leak did not share the phone’s specs, or anything of the sort, but previous leaks did. Looking at that info, the Galaxy S7 is likely to sport a 5.2-inch display once again, while the Galaxy S7 Plus might ship with a 5.7-6” panel. Both of these handsets will sport a QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, and you can also expect them to ship with 4GB of RAM on the inside. Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 8890 SoC will fuel these two devices, while Snapdragon 820 variants are also a possibility. These phones will be made out of metal, and the physical home button will make an appearance once again, and the fingerprint scanner will be included on the inside. Android 6.0 Marshmallow probably going to be pre-installed on this handset along with the company’s TouchWiz UI.
