OnePlus hasn’t exactly been around for long, but all three devices this China-based company has released have managed to sell really well and attract consumers. The OnePlus One has been announced last year as the company’s flagship, while its successor arrived earlier this year. OnePlus has also announced the even more affordable OnePlus X handset back in October, and it seems like yet another one OnePlus-branded smartphone will launch before the end of the year, read on.

A mysterious OnePlus smartphone has been spotted at GFXBench a couple of days ago, and it seems like that very same device has been certified in China. The OnePlus E1000 (reference number) has received the 3C Certification in China, which basically confirmed that this device not only exists, but that it will be available soon. The 3C Certification, unfortunately, did not provide any additional spec info, or anything of the sort, but a recent GFXBench listing sure did.

According to GFXBench, this upcoming OnePlus smartphone, presumably called OnePlus (2) Mini or something of the sort, will sport a 4.6-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display. The device will also pack in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC, just like the OnePlus 2, and an Adreno 430 GPU will also be a part of this package, of course. The 13-megapixel shooter will be located on the back of the device, and a 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop has also been listed on GFXBench, and on top of, it you’ll find OnePlus’ Oxygen OS software offering.

Now, this handset seems basically identical to OnePlus 2, but is smaller overall. The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch display, while this handset will feature a 4.6-inch panel, presuming GFXBench listing is accurate, of course. We still don’t know if this handset will look identical to the OnePlus 2 in terms of the design, but that is quite possible considering the two phones have almost identical specifications. Either way, stay tuned, we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as new info surfaces.
