The design is very important when it comes to smartphones, well, most products actually. Manufacturers are trying to differentiate these days because smartphones have become quite similar one to the other, and design is what might convince the consumer to purchase a certain smartphone. We’ve seen quite a few interestingly designed smartphones this year, like the Galaxy S6 Edge and ZTE’s Axon line, for example, and it will surely going to be interesting to see what will we get in 2016. Until then, we have a new concept smartphone to share with you, read on.
The concept phone we’ll talk about today is called ‘Asus Z1 Titan’ and is designed by Hege, as a number of previously shared concept devices have been. Anyhow, the designer has decided to share his vision with us, and not only did he share a number of images of this device, but also its ‘dream’ specifications which are completely unrealistic at the moment, of course. The Asus Z1 Titan is imagined to feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display along with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 830 SoC fuels this smartphone, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display. The 3,500mAh removable battery is a part of this package as well, and a 16-megapixel shooter can be found on the back of this smartphone along with a dual-LED flash. The 5-megapixel snapper is located up front, and Android 7 comes pre-installed on this device.
Now, as I mentioned, these specs are completely unrealistic at the moment, they might be way more realistic in a year or so when Qualcomm releases the Snapdragon 830 though considering that SoC will probably support up to 6GB of RAM. Anyhow, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see what this phone looks like, and as you can see, it doesn’t really look like anything available in the market at the moment. There are three capacitive buttons below the display (standard layout), but they look different than anything we’ve seen thus far. The phone’s rear-facing camera is placed at the very top of the phone’s back, and is centered, as you can see in the images. The designer also envisioned four front-facing speakers to be included in this smartphone, which is quite interesting. That’s pretty much it, check out the gallery down below, if you’d like to get a better look at this phone.
