When Google launched the Nexus 6P earlier in the Fall, it was available in three different colors, including graphite, aluminum, and frost. There was also a fourth gold color, but it was exclusive to Japan at the time of launch. It has since also launched in India recently, and there were previous rumors last week that it may end up being available in the U.S. as well through Best Buy stores. There is still no official indication that the Nexus 6P in gold will reach U.S. shelves but the phone is now available from Best Buy, albeit in just one color for the time being.
Those who prefer to grab their smartphones and smartphone accessories through Best Buy can now grab the Huawei Nexus 6P from the store or online. Best Buy only seems to sell the 64GB model though, which is available for $499 and only comes in Aluminum. Whether or not Best Buy will end up carrying any other storage size models or any other colors is unknown at this point, but you can get to Best Buy’s website and grab the one listed if 64GB and an Aluminum color is the combination you wanted for the device. Those still deadset on having the gold color here in the U.S. and aren’t willing to wait can pick up the gold model on eBay, but the cost is quite high set at just under $2k.
Best Buy also sells the Nexus 5X for those who want something a little less expensive, and there are a selection of cases available for either phone (at least one the website) that can be picked up as well. The Nexus 6P comes equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD display, and it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3450mAh battery. It also has 3GB of RAM, and comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage size options. It sports a front-facing 8MP camera which features HD video capture at 30fps, and for the rear camera, it carries a 12.3MP shooter. Also on the back is the fingerprint sensor, and the phone comes running Google’s latest version of Android, which is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
