Samsung Offering $200 off their Flagships, after using Samsung Pay

Samsung launched Samsung Pay this year, after announcing it along side the Galaxy S6 in March, it officially launched in September on four of their flagships – the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5. Although it’s had a bit of trouble really gaining a ton of traction. It’s by no means a flop though. Samsung has been offering all sorts of promos as of late to persuade people into activating Samsung Pay and even using it. Their latest promotion will get you $200 off of their latest flagship devices.

Now this promotion gets you $200 off of the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, however you will have to file a claim after receiving the phone and activating Samsung Pay to get your $200 credit. Which means you will have to buy the phone at full price (or finance it through a carrier) then wait around 6-8 weeks to get your $200 back. As is usual with Samsung’s promotions for Samsung Pay, this promotion is only valid for those in the US. Those outside of the US are out of luck, unfortunately. This promotion is good through January 16th. There’s more though. When you file a claim to get your $200 credit, you also enter to win a $23,000 Game Day prize, as we’re approaching the end of the NFL season and Samsung is giving someone VIP passes to a game (likely a playoff game).

Maybe not the greatest promotion ever, but getting $200 off of your Samsung smartphone isn’t anything to sneeze at, especially where they are usually around $700 full retail. If you were going to buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or a Galaxy Note 5, this is a great deal for you, even if you do have to wait 6-8 weeks to really get that credit back. All four smartphones are pretty fantastic, and received rave reviews from us this year. Additionally, they are all made from premium materials including glass and metal. Which make them look pretty fantastic, even if they are fingerprint magnets. Hit the source link below for all of the details.
