Smartphones and tablets are becoming more and more powerful, which lets developers release some interesting games in the Google Play Store. There are tons of games available over there, and titles like the Modern Combat 5 which launched a while back, really did show us how capable mobile devices have become in terms of hardware. They still can’t compare to gaming consoles or PCs, not by a long shot, but compared to what we’ve played a couple of years ago, this is a huge improvement.
That being said, we’ve recently stumbled upon a rather interesting space shooter title, which is not necessarily the most graphically intensive game out there, but it does offer nice 3D graphics. The name of this game is ‘Space Jet’, and it really managed to attract us no only with its graphics, but gameplay as well. If you’re into this genre, you should definitely try out this game. Now, before you head over to the Google Play and download it, keep in mind that this is an online only title which you’ll be playing against players from all over the world, the single player campaign is not available here. You will compete against other players, there are a number of daily challenges available, and you’ll be required to collect in-game currency in order to improve your ships in various ways. There are 20 ships available within the game, and each of them is upgradeable, which offers you a number of different approaches here. There are also a ton of maps to choose from within the game, and if you like this genre, this game will hardly become boring quickly, it really does have a lot of content to offer.
Space Jet is completely free to download and play, but do keep in mind that in-app purchases are available here as well.
