Google has introduced their new premium Nexus 6P phablet alongside the affordable Nexus 5X back in September. The Nexus 6P is now available in a number of regions all over the world, and it’s available in three color options: Aluminum (Silver), Graphite (Black) and Frost (White). Well, back in September, a Gold (color) Nexus 6P listing has been spotted in Japan, but we haven’t heard much about this handset, at least not until now, read on.
The gold-colored Nexus 6P has popped up on the Google Play Store in Japan, and it’s officially called ‘Nexus 6P Special Edition’ in that Asian country. Now, this is basically the regular Nexus 6P colored differently, it doesn’t really set itself apart from its brothers in any other way. The phone is available in three internal storage options, you can get it in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. In case you live in Japan, and are interested in getting one of these, you can follow the source link down below, but keep in mind that the device is currently out of stock and you might have to wait a while before you can purchase one. As far as its availability in other countries goes, we still don’t have any information regarding that, but it’s possible Google will roll it out in additional regions in the near future.
The Huawei Nexus 6P sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 12.3-megapixel snapper (1.55µm pixel size) can be found on the back of this phablet along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 8-megapixel camera is located up front, and a non-removable 3,450mAh battery is also a part of this package. The device ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and is made out of aluminum. The Nexus 6P measures 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3mm, while it weighs 178 grams. That’s pretty much it, the ‘Special Edition’, gold variant of the Nexus 6P is now available in Japan, it remains to be seen if it rolls out anywhere else, stay tuned.
