When Google launched the Nexus 6P it was initially only available through the Google Store and Huawei’s own website. Suffice it to say that stock was hard to keep in the store for the first couple of weeks as the demand for the phone was high. Just over the weekend it was discovered that Best Buy had started selling the Nexus 6P, albeit only in the Aluminum color and only the 64GB model, set at a price of $499. As of today, consumers have one more place they can promptly order the U.S. version Nexus 6P from Google and Huawei, through Amazon’s online store.
At the time of writing, it appears that Amazon does have some U.S. models are available and Amazon has them listed in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB sizes, and in both Graphite and Aluminum colors. The prices will vary depending on the seller as the phone is available to ship from Amazon and other sellers on Amazon. It also seems to vary by color, as Amazon has the Aluminum model in 64GB size on sale for $499 just like Best Buy, but the Graphite model is still listed at $549 for that storage size option. Amazon also seems to be temporarily out of stock of some variants, like the 128GB model in either color.
The 32GB model is also out of stock in both colors, so at the time it seems the only one that’s available for purchase is the 64GB version in Aluminum, which is going to cost consumers $499 to purchase with a shipping date set for December 23rd as that particular model is in stock but it’s also on back order. Keep in mind that if you want one fo these devices in a different storage size or in the Frost color, you can still pick them up over at the Google store or directly from Huawei. Best Buy also still has some in stock for the 64GB Aluminum model at the same price. With it being so close to Christmas there is no guarantee that consumers will get the device before the holidays, what’s more likely is that the phones will show up sometime after, even if only by a day or two.
