Xolo is one of India-based smartphone manufacturing companies. They have released quite a few smartphones thus far this year, including the Xolo Black 1X which was announced back in October. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, and packs in 3GB of RAM, and it doesn’t cost all that much at all. Well, Xolo has just announced yet another handset which sports a solid set of specs, and it also doesn’t cost that much, the Xolo Black, read on.
The Xolo Black features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) OGS display along with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). This smartphone is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 3,200mAh battery is located on the inside, and Andriod 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Xolo’s HIVE Atlas UI available on top of Google’s operating system. This handset sports duo camera setup on the back, it has the main 13-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens), and a secondary 2-megapixel snapper (f/2.4 aperture, 3-element lens) for depth perception. As far as its front-facing snapper goes, Xolo has opted for a 5-megapixel sensor (5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture). This is a dual-SIM handset (micro + nano SIM), though you can use the second slot as a microSD card if you want. The 3,200mAh battery is also a part of this package, as is 4G LTE connectivity. As far as the design goes, this handset sports capacitive buttons below the display, and sports a rather simple design, you won’t find anything all that exciting here. The volume rocker and power / lock buttons are placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone, as you can see in the provided images. The Xolo Black is priced at Rs. 11,999 ($182), and it will be available exclusively from Snapdeal.
