Bluboo Xtouch Plus To Feature A 6" QHD Display & 4GB Of RAM

We’ve talked about many different China-based smartphone manufacturers in the last couple of months, and Bluboo was one of the companies from that list. This is as mall company which has introduced a couple of rather interesting devices in 2015, like the Bluboo Xtouch handset which we’ve reviewed recently. This handset is also Bluboo’s flagship, and according to the latest info we’ve received, the company plans to introduce a new, higher-end variant of this device, read on.

Our source at the company reached out and shared some new info with us. Bluboo si currently working on the Xtouch Plus handset, a phablet which will be Bluboo’s new flagship. According to the info we’ve received, the Bluboo Xtouch Plus will feature a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will also pack a 21-megapixel shooter on its back, and a 5,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package. That is pretty much all the spec info we’ve received, but it’s more than enough to make this handset rather interesting. These specs are significantly higher than the ones Xtouch has to offer (MT6753, 3GB of RAM…), and even though the company did not say when is this handset expected to arrive, we do hope Bluboo will share more info soon.

Now, Xtouch Plus’ specs are not the only piece of information we’ve received. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see Bluboo Xtouch in the flesh. This image pretty much reveals this phone’s complete design considering it shows the phone from pretty much every side. This image reveals that the phone will also pack a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, really thin side bezels, and what seems to be a 2.5D curved glass on top of its display. The device will also sport wood as its back cover, and we’re not sure if Bluboo intends to offers different models of this device, variants with different back covers. The phone’s loudspeaker(s) is located on the bottom of the device, and you’ll also notice the Type-C port down there. The headphones jack is placed on the top of this phone, and its power / lock and volume rocker buttons are located on the right.
