With our smartphones batteries not lasting as long as we wish they would, many of us have car chargers to charge up our smartphones in the car. But with so many car chargers out there, which ones are worth your hard earned cash? Let’s find out.

Maxboost 4.8A 2-Port Car Charger

Maxboost has a great car charger here. This is a two port car charger and each port outputs 2.4A, making it so that you can charge two devices pretty quickly at the same time. Definitely a great feature for anyone that has a smartphone with a somewhat large battery.

iXCC 5-Port 10A Car Charger

Now this car charger is a bit unique. It’s not your typical car charger. You plug it in, but then you set the charger into a cup holder, and it has 5 USB ports. Something that is unheard of for car chargers. It can output 10A through all five ports, so that’s about 2A per port. Not as fast as the Maxboost charger, but still pretty darn fast.

Here’s another great one from iXCC, this one has four ports, but instead of using your cup holder it just plugs straight into the car charger. With four USB ports, it means you can charge everyone’s phone at the same time. And with it being USB, this will work for iPhones, the Nexus 5X/6P and other micro USB smartphones.

This one looks pretty similar to the iXCC charger above, however it has just 3 ports this time, so it’s 2.2A each port. Still making for a pretty fast car charger, and can still charge almost everyone’s phone at the same time. Definitely a convenient thing to have these days.

Anker 4-port 9.6A USB Car Charger

Anker also has a 4-port car charger here, which uses their Power IQ Technology to charge your smartphone as quickly as it can without damaging the device. Something that is always pretty important, wouldn’t you say? This one will allow you to charge everyone’s smartphone at the same time as well.

Now this car charger from Anker is important because it features Quick Charge 3.0, which is going to be a pretty big deal in 2016. Quick Charge 3.0 allows you to charge your device about 2.5x as fast as a conventional charger. Definitely making it worth the extra money, especially if you’re always in a rush.

This car charger from Aukey is important as well, it’s one of the few out there that have two USB ports where both feature Quick Charge 2.0 technology. So both the driver and passenger can charge their smartphone twice as fast as a conventional charger. Always a big deal when in the car.

Incipio has a great looking car charger here too that also supports Quick Charge 2.0. Again, this allows your phone to charge about twice as quickly as conventional chargers. Unfortunately, it is just a single-port charger from Incipio. So only one person will be able to charge their smartphone at a time.

CHOETECH also has a Quick Charge 2.0 car charger here. While it does indeed have four USB ports, only one has Quick Charge 2.0. The others feature CHOETECH’s proprietary technology that will send as much power to your device as it can handle without damaging the device. Still a very important feature.
