Earlier in the month, the LG K4, a new device that’s part of LG’s K series was demoed in a promo video on the company’s own YouTube page, and just yesterday a listing for the LG K4 showed up on LG’s website revealing some key factors about the device. This evening, LG has just announced that the global rollout of the K4 and the K10 will begin a few key markets as early as this week, starting with regions that include CIS and Europe, with Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia to follow in the weeks after those two previously listed markets.
Both the K4 and the K10 are an initiative of LG to offer smartphones with compelling features and specifications to a mass market without attaching a high price tag. Because of this and the added benefits of the premium design as well as the camera features which LG has packed into both devices, something which seems to be a trend with LG and more than a few of their phones from the past year which focus on higher quality camera experiences, LG plans for these devices to do well. The LG K4 comes equipped with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a quad-core processor that’s clocked at 1.0GHz, alongside 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. it also comes powered by a 1940mAh battery and is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It features a 5MP camera on the front as well as a 2MP camera on the back, and is LTE ready coming in two colors which include white and indigo, with highlighted features such as gesture shots and a flash for the front facing camera to take better selfies.
The LG K10 is the more powerful of the two, and comes equipped with a 5.3-inch HD display also running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and will come in LTE and 3G only models. There will be multiple model options available for this particular device in regards to other specs with choices for 1GB, 1.5GB, and 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB or 8GB of internal storage space. LG will also offer multiple camera options. While the rear camera will remain 13MP on the LTE model of the device alongside either an 8MP or 5MP front camera, the 3G only model will sport an 8MP camera on the back, as well as an 8MP or 5MP camera on the front. The LTE model is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz while the 3G model features a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Both 3G and LTE models will feature a 2300mAh battery as well as color options of white, indigo, and gold, and features such as gesture shot, tap and shot, and gesture interval shot for an enhanced camera experience.
