OnePlus' Handsets & Accessories Are Now Discounted In India

OnePlus has introduced two smartphones this year, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The former one is the company’s flagship, and the latter one is their mid-range offering. Considering what they have to offer, both of these devices are quite affordable, and especially the OnePlus X. The two handsets have been available in India for quite some time now, and they’re even more affordable now, read on.

This China-based smartphone manufacturer has decided to discount their handsets and accessories in India, in order to celebrate country’s 66th Republic Day. Both OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X are available for purchase from January 21st to January 23rd without an invite. The OnePlus 2 is available without an invite for quite some time, but in order to purchase OnePlus X you needed an invite for every day except Tuesday. Anyhow, the OnePlus X Onyx / Champagne variant now costs Rs. 14,999, and OnePlus X Ceramic model will set you back Rs. 22,999 in the country during these three days. The OnePlus 2 now costs Rs. 22,999, and the company has even discounted their first flagship, the OnePlus One, which now costs Rs. 17,999 in the country. That’s not all though, the company has also decided to discount their accessories during the sale. The company’s accessories are now discounted 20%+ in India, so this might be the perfect time to pick up a bamboo back, or a battery pack (for example) from OnePlus.

The OnePlus One and OnePlus X are both powered by the Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC, sport 3GB of RAM and feature a 1080p panel up front. They’re quite different in terms of design and size though. The OnePlus One sports a 5.5-inch panel, while the OnePlus X ships with a 5-inch display. The OnePlus 2, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone also packs in a rather capable 13-megapixel shooter on its back, and Android Lollipop comes pre-installed here with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS installed on top of it. All three of these devices are quite capable, and if you’re looking to buy one in India, this might be the time to do it, you have until January 23rd to make up your mind.
