Avoid is a pretty cool game available on Android via the Google Play Store. It’s a pretty simple game actually. Basically what you are doing is attempting to collect coins without getting hit by the blades, which do move in random directions and you’ll never know where they are going next. Often times they will corner you, and you’ll have no where to go. And if you do get hit with one of the blades, you may end up losing your head. Unfortunately no blood comes out from losing your head of other body parts. The object of the game here is solely to collect coins which will unlock more characters to you to play with. That’s pretty much the entire game.
This is kind of like an endless runner, except you aren’t running. As the levels are endless, so you just keep on collecting coins until there are no more to collect. Of course, the more you play, the harder it will get. And it actually does get to be pretty hard, as hard as that might be to imagine. It’s a pretty fun time wasting game. Great for those that need some help wasting time whether they are stuck in a car, at a doctor’s office or somewhere bored. And because it’s such a simple game, just about any smartphone can handle the game, even the Moto E which is pretty low powered.
Avoid is available for free on the Google Play Store. However it is, what we like to call, a “Freemium” game. And that is, it’s free but there are in-app purchases here. These in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $4.99 and will unlock things like extra lives – in case you didn’t avoid the blades – as well as other characters and more. Warning, when it comes to Avoid, you may get a bit too attached, and too into the game. Many users – even myself – have ended up playing this for hours and hours on end. So if you have work to do, you may not want to download Avoid. But rest assured it is a pretty fantastic game here.
