Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge rumors and leaks are way too frequent at this point. Samsung’s newest flagships will be announced on February 21st, and every day we stumble upon several new pieces of info when it comes to these two smartphones. We’ve seen various cases leaked, tons of benchmark and certification listings, and even the renders of these two handsets have leaked quite recently.
As it’s usually the case, wallpapers from these two handsets have leaked ahead of schedule as well. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see 13 wallpapers that have been shared by the source. As you can see, these wallpapers are somewhat similar to the ones we’ve seen bundled with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, they’re quite minimalistic. As a side note, Galaxy S7 accessories list has also surfaced earlier today, and if that list is true, we’ll get tons of official accessories along with the two Galaxy S7 devices, including a battery case which will hopefully be better designed than the one released by Apple recently.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890, depending on which variants you purchase. The two devices will ship with 4GB of RAM on the inside, and you can expect QHD Super AMOLED panels on both of them. Now, the Galaxy S7 is said to be a bit smaller, it will sport a 5.2-inch QHD display if rumors are accurate, while the Galaxy S7 Edge will ship with a 5.5-inch panel. The 12.2-megapixel BRITECELL camera has also been mentioned, but it is possible Samsung will opt for Sony’s 23-megapixel snapper after all, we’ll see. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on these two phones, and on top of it, you’ll get Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
As previously mentioned, these two phones will be introduced on February 21st in Barcelona during MWC: Interestingly enough, LG will also showcase their G5 flagship on that very same date, so it seems like the two Korea-based giants are going head-to-head this year, that will surely be a fun day. Either way, stay tuned for additional info, we’ll report back if anything interesting pops up.
