Samsung Galaxy S7 Specs, Hands-On Images & Video Surface

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona will begin soon, and during the trade show, a number of tech companies will showcase their products. Both Samsung and LG will introduce their newest flagship offerings on February 21st, and we’ve seen tons of leaks thus far, especially Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge ones. The Galaxy S7 Edge actually surfaced yesterday in Dubai, some clear real life images popped up, and now we have a new piece of info for you, a new leak has surfaced, read on.

According to the source, the Galaxy S7 will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, while the phone will sport IP67 or IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The 12-megapixel shooter (larger pixels, probably BRITECELL tech) will be placed on the back of the device, according to this leak, and a 2,800mAh battery will be available on the inside. The source also claims that the phone will offer microSD card expansions, and that the Type-C uSB port won’t e present here. That is pretty much it as far as newly leaked specs go, but there’s plenty more info available here.

The source has also shared some hands-on images with the device that they’ve received from a third-party source, and same goes for the video footage you can check out below this article. If you take a look at the gallery or the video down below, you’ll get to see what seems to be the Galaxy S6, and even a part of its TouchWiz UI. This leak actually goes hand-in-hand to what we’ve seen thus far, the phone resembles its predecessor quite a bit, and the camera hump is significantly less pronounced this time around. The phone is made out of metal and glass, and the images and video down below give us probably the best look at the device thus far. You can also notice that the phone is curved on the back, much like the Galaxy Note 5, which should help with the grip, make the phone feel more comfortable in the hand.

The Galaxy S7 will be fueled by the Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 SoC, both variants will be available, at least according to what we’ve seen thus far. The device will ship with 4GB of RAM on the inside, and a number of different internal storage models will be available, as always.
