Samsung Galaxy View Drops to $449

At the end of last year, Samsung announced their largest tablet yet which is a 18.4-inch tablet named the Galaxy View. It features a built-in handle, but also features a customized build of Android which is made for that large display. The Galaxy View is more like a small TV, as we have all sorts of great apps including Netflix, and Hulu that are optimized for the display. Samsung announced the Galaxy View in November and put it on sale for $599. A few weeks later it dropped to $499, and now it’s seeing yet another price drop down to $449.

Spec-wise the Galaxy View features an Exynos 7580 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is also a 5700mAh battery inside, which won’t last all day long on that 18.4-inch 1080p display, but it’s not meant to be a portable tablet, as it will only last a few hours. There’s also a 2.1MP front-facing camera which is great for taking selfies and even doing video chats through Skype, Hangouts, or another video chatting app.

The Samsung Galaxy View is an experiment for Samsung, so to speak. The Galaxy Note actually started as an experiment for Samsung. Experimenting to see if users really wanted a smartphone that big and one with a stylus. As we all know, everyone loved the Galaxy Note, as it’s now one  of the best selling smartphones, 5 years later. The Galaxy View is a much larger tablet than any other tablet that Samsung has made. As the largest before was 12.2-inches. Samsung hasn’t released any numbers on the sales of the Galaxy View tablet, but based on the price continuing to drop, it’s hard to say that it’s selling all that well so far. It’s a pretty decent tablet from Samsung, that would work great for all of your media consumption, no matter where you are.

Amazon is selling the Samsung Galaxy View tablet right now for $449, and many other retailers will be dropping the price pretty soon as well. A great buy for just $450. Which you can pick up from the link down below.
