As you’ve probably noticed already, the Xiaomi Mi 5 has been announced today. Tons of coverage popped up on our site earlier today, and so has all over other tech-related sites as well. The Mi 5 is Xiaomi’s newest flagship smartphone, and after months of various rumors and leaks, the company has finally introduced this phone. Now, the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes in two variants, the 32GB and 64GB internal storage options sport 3GB of RAM, while the Limited Edition Ceramic Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. It is worth noting that the internal storage is expandable on all of these devices.

It’s time to take a look at some extra images of this phone, in addition to our original ones, part of which we’ve already posted on the site. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see all the official images of the Mi 5 Xiaomi has released today. There are 26 images down there, and should give you a great look at this smartphones. The Mi 5 actually resembles the Mi Note / Mi Note Pro quite a bit, and the company even acknowledged that during the presentation, they say they’ve done that on purpose. There is, however, one major different in general looks here (aside from the side), the Mi 5 sports a physical home button below the display instead of the three capacitive keys like the MI Note / Mi Note Pro, and pretty much every other smartphone the company has ever released. The regular variant fo the device are made out of 3D glass and metal, while the highest-end Mi 5 Pro variant sports ceramic build (+metal, of course).
The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 tech. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, along with an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 16-megapixel 4-axis OIS camera is placed on the back of this device, and a 4-megapixel snapper (2um pixel size) is available up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here, and Xiaomi’s MIUI 7 OS can be found on top of it.
