Batman vs Superman has been getting plenty of attention lately, and that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise considering that the film just hit theaters today. It’s only fitting then that those who are fans of DC comics as well as all things Batman and Bruce Wayne, should have the opportunity to explore the home of Bruce Wayne as well as the Batcave. For those that are interested, you won’t have to travel very far to do so, as the Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice official Facebook page announced that fans would be able to explore both the Batcave and Bruce Wayne’s residence through the use of Google Maps StreetView.
This can be done either from the web with the use of the Google Maps web app, or if you’re on a mobile device like an Android smartphone or tablet, you can use the dedicated StreetView application. Just like with any other locations or buildings you can explore within Google Maps and StreetView, you can move around the home to check out different rooms or simply spin around the camera to see different angles of the room you’re in, and you can eventually navigate your way down the tunnel leading to the Batcave where you can check out the batmobile, the batwing, and more.
As you look around you can see everything from Batman’s tools of the trade to what looks like Robin’s suit on display painted with a devious message from the Joker on the chest. While being able to explore the Batcave is certainly going to be a cool experience for most, the inclusion of being able to see the suit of Robin on display will be a fun little detail for those who are diehard fans of the comic book super hero. You can even check out the unfinished suit of armor that Batman wears to fight against Superman in the film. If you plan on going to see the movie or you’re simply a fan of Batman, check out the street view exploration of the Batcave for yourself as you shouldn’t be disappointed with what there is to see.
