Batman VS. Superman Goes Mobile With Injustice: Gods Among Us

Fighting games have been popular for decades, and games like Injustice: Gods Among Us takes the popularity of super heroes from DC Comics and thrusts them into the fighting game genre. The mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us is not quite like the console and PC version, but it does offer up a good amount of similar gameplay with many of the same characters. Today with the latest update, Warner Bros. Interactive is also adding in more new content for fans of the game to enjoy to promote the upcoming Batman VS. Superman: Dawn of Justice movie that hits theaters in the near future.

The update should be live today as stated by Warner Bros. Interactive, with new challenge modes that allow players to unlock both Superman and Wonder Woman characters from the film, as well as in-app purchases that give players the ability to get their hands on other available content from the film like an unlockable Batman character, and various gear and cosmetic items for each of the three characters to be used in-game. The content added in today’s update is inspired by the movie and is Warner Bros. way of celebrating the upcoming release into theaters.

While the update should already be live inside of the Play Store, there is always the chance that not all users who have the game installed or are looking to install it will have the update right away. If that’s the case, simply waiting a little bit longer should allow it some time to surface. For those who have never experienced Injustice: Gods Among Us on mobile devices before, it takes elements of the fighting game on other platforms and scales things down for a mobile friendly fit. You don’t have full control of your character like you do inside of the console and PC versions of the game, but you can still complete many of the same moves using a series of swipes and gestures for various stuff. There is also still a pretty huge roster of characters to choose from with many of them being unlockable through gameplay, although there is always the option to unlock stuff through in-app purchases as well.
