Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Released In India, Available Soon

That being said, Lenovo’s smartphones are extremely popular in India, Lenovo tends to introduce quite a few smartphones in that Asian country throughout the year, and one such phone has just been unveiled, read on.

The company has just launched the Vibe K5 Plus handset in India, a phone which was originally introduced last month during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. This is a mid-range smartphone which is quite affordable, and thus might sell well in India. The Vibe K5 Plus sports a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor, along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 2,750mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is removable. The 13-megapixel snapper (OmniVision’s sensor) is located on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel shooter is placed up front. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Vibe K5 Plus, and on top of it, you’ll find Lenovo’s very own UI. This is a dual-SIM handset (2 x microSIM), which measures 142 x 71 x 8.2, and weighs 142 grams.

It is also worth mentioning that this handset ships with the TheaterMax technology for an immersive VR experience, presuming you use a VR headset, of course. The phone comes in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray color options, and it will be available for Rs. 8,499. The Vibe K5 Plus will be available for purchase starting from March 23rd exclusively from Flipkart, and it will be available for open sale, no flash sales or anything of the sort.
