The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the two newest handsets from Samsung and saw their general available kicking off last Friday, March 11. Since then there has been a number of promotions coming down the wire including from all the big carriers. In fact, one deal which has continually been popping up is the option to buy one Galaxy S7 and get one free. That is, free in terms of payments for the handsets as two lines are required for the promotion, one line for the first handset and one for the free handset. The latest carrier to now join in with the BOGO offer is Sprint.
In terms of what is on offer through Sprint, those looking to pick up the Galaxy S7 can do so by either an installment plan or through a leasing plan. Either will net the buyer the free Galaxy S7. Through the leasing option, buyers will be looking at a two-year plan with monthly payments of $25.99. This option also offers the ability to upgrade the handset through Galaxy Forever after completion of the first 12 months of payments. The second Galaxy S7 will be billed at the same rate, although, the buyer will receive a credit each month to the value of $25.99, essentially making the purchase free. If you would prefer to go the installment route, then once again this culminates in a two-year plan, although the monthly payments are a little higher and billed at $27.09 each month. Again, the free Galaxy S7 will come in the form of the same billing plan, albeit with the cost zeroed out thanks to the monthly credits of $27.09 which will be applied.
As well as simply offering the buy one get one deal, Sprint is also offering this deal in conjunction with their ongoing ‘switch and save’ promotion which means if you do switch from either AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile, Sprint will look to cut your bill from those carriers in half, as well as covering your switching fees. The promotion seems to be open to both new and existing customers, although to qualify for the additional free Samsung Galaxy S7, one of the lines does need to be a new line activation.
