The Galaxy S7 is one of two flagship smartphones Samsung has introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. The Galaxy S7 is a direct successor to the Galaxy S6, and it sports both premium specs and build. The device sports a metal frame which is placed in-between two sheets of glass, and its bezels are even thinner than last year. The physical button is here once again, but it's somewhat bigger this time around, and the fingerprint scanner is built into in once more. The Galaxy S7 does offer the 'always-on' display functionality, just like its sibling, and the LG G5.

This smartphone features a 5.1-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage (only 32GB model available in the US). This handset is fueled either be the Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 SoC, this will be region dependent as well. The 12-megapixel camera (f/1.7 aperture) is placed on the back of the Galaxy S7, while there's a 5-megapixel snapper up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this handset, and on top of it you'll find Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz UI. The Galaxy S7 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and packs in a 3.000mAh non-removable battery. The device measures 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9mm, while it weighs 152 grams.

The Galaxy S7 is an evolutionary update to the Galaxy S6. This handset is very similar to its predecessor, but it's way more polished. What I mean by that is that Samsung listened to critics, and improved upon Galaxy S6, not to mention this device offers significantly more powerful internals, of course. The Galaxy S7 is definitely not a budget device, but if you have money to spend and are looking for an Android flagships, this is one of the best smartphones you can buy.
