Meizu has introduced their third-gen ‘M Note’ handset on April 6th, the Meizu M3 Note. For the first time ever, the ‘M Note’ handset is made out of metal, while it retained the M2 Note’s form factor, and it also sports a very nice set of specs. The M3 Note is also quite affordable, the 16GB and 32GB variants cost only 799 Yuan ($124) and 999 Yuan ($155), respectively. That being said, this company has announced yet another event for April 13th, and they’ve more or less confirmed that the Meizu PRO 6 will be announced at the said event, read on.
We’ve already seen tons of leaked info when it comes to this phone, and the company has confirmed that it will sport a fullHD pressure sensitive display, and that it will be fueled by the Helio X25 64-bit deca-core processor. The image of Meizu PRO 6’s back side has been shared by the company’s CEO recently, and the device will also sport an innovative antenna design, as the company’s VP already shown us. Now, Meizu has released yet another teaser prior to the event, and this time around they’re teasing fast charging. Meizu used mCharge technology in their previous handsets, and this time around they not only tease fast charging times, but they basically state that their method will go easy on the battery and won’t damage it as much as other methods do. Meizu indirectly says that some fast charging techniques damage battery faster than regular charging, which basically hurts your battery life over time, and promise their method is different. Now, it is possible Meizu plans to use the new mCharge method to charge your phone, or perhaps MediaTek’s PE (Pump Express) fast charging, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
According to yesterday’s AnTuTu listing, the Meizu PRO 6 will sport a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (64GB variant will also be available). The phone will be fueled by the Helio X25 SoC by MediaTek, along with the Mali-T880 GPU for graphics. Interesting enough, AnTuTu’s listing reveals that the phone will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which is something we did not expect. Meizu’s Flyme UI will be installed on top of Google’s OS, and the device will be made out of metal.
