Motorola has introduced three smartphones back in July last year, the Moto G (3rd-gen), Moto X Play and Moto X Style / Pure. The Moto G is Motorola’s entry-level handset, while the Moto X Play belongs in the mid-range category. The Moto X Style aka Moto X Pure, however, is the company’s flagship phablet for 2015. That being said, we’ve already seen quite a few leaks regarding the all-new Moto G handset, and according to rumors, the device will be called the Moto G4. That’s not all though, the Moto G4 Plus has also been leaked, and judging by rumors / leaks, one of the two variants will sport a square home button.
Well, a new Moto G4 leak surfaced, and this time around, we do get check out the phone’s alleged cases, while the render of the device is also included here, as you can see. If you take a look at the back of the cases provided in the gallery down below, you’ll get to see Moto G4’s camera sensors, which is accompanied by an LED flash, and what seems to be another senor, quite possibly the laser autofocus, at least it looks that way. It seems like the all-new Moto G will look quite a bit different than the model released in 2015, which might not be all that surprising. The phone’s headphone jack will be placed on the top of the handset, and will be centered, just like it was on the Moto G (3rd-gen). We assume that the fingerprint scanner will also be included in this package, and that it will be built into the physical home button on the Moto G4.
Interestingly enough, it seems like both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus might sport the same display, a 5.5-inch panel, at least according to previous rumors. The two devices will sport different cameras on the back though, the Moto G4 is said to ship with a 13-megapixel snapper, while the Moto G4 Plus might come with a 16-megapixel unit. Both of these devices will come with Android Marshmallow out of the box, and we do expect to see a relatively stock version of Android installed on top of it, with some additions by the company, as it was the case in recent years. Keep in mind that we’ve seen two different Moto G4 leaks thus far, one device sports the square button you can see in the gallery down below, and the other one has no physical buttons on its front side.
