Sony Launches h.ear on Noise Cancelling Headphones In India

Sony is a huge company, and even though they do manufacture smartphones, that’s only a small piece of the puzzle. This company is manufacturing all sorts of other products, ranging from gaming consoles, camera sensors, all the way to audio equipment. That being said, Sony has introduced tons of headphones in the last couple of years, and they seem to be focusing more and more on the Indian smartphone market.

The company has released a new pair of headphones in India, the h.ear on (MDR-100ABN) wireless noise cancelling headphones. These headphones were originally introduced back in January during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and are not launched in India as well. The h.ear on headphones offer Digital Noise Cancelling, and the company promises 20-hour battery life for this product. Now, the h.ear on headphones offer high-resolution audio, and the digital noise cancelling should prevent any distractions while you’re listening to music. Sony says that h.ear on’s noise cancelling actually adapts to your surroundings in order to provide with the best sound possible. These headphones are also equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The LDAC audio coding technology is also a part of this offering, while the headphones are also equipped with the 40mm dome type driver. The non-directional, Electret Condenser Microphone is also a part of this package, and the headphones themselves weight 290 grams.

These headphones actually ship with a 1.2m connecting cable, which you can use if you prefer it over the Bluetooth connection. The Sony h.ear on ear pads are designed for comfort and prevention of any sound leakage, says Sony. These headphones come in black color only, and as you can see in the provided image, they really do look quite sleek, especially if you like that stealthy look. The Sony h.ear on headphones are priced at Rs. 21,990 ($330) in India, just in case you’re interested in purchasing a pair. We’re still not sure whether they’re already available in India, but if not, they will be soon, from authorized sellers in India.
