T-Mobile Giving Away ZTE Falcon For Free To Business Customers

T-Mobile has announced that it will be giving away the ZTE Falcon 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot to business customers for free, provided they sign up for at least two business lines with 6 GB of LTE data each at a price of $80 per month, alongside a mobile internet connection with 2 GB or more of allotted data. According to the announcement from T-Mobile, the offer is a promotional one and will not be available in perpetuity. The offer has already gone live as of today and will run for a limited time, so users will do well to make up their minds sooner rather than later. According to the carrier, all @Work Retail small business customers signed up to any of the carrier’s Un-carrier X business rate plans qualify to take advantage of this offer.

The offer is only available in-store and users looking to redeem it can do so within 30 days of purchase by going over to a webpage specially setup for the purpose. T-Mobile says that it will fulfill its commitment and pay back the entire amount of the ZTE Falcon Z-917 via mail-in-rebate in the form of a Prepaid MasterCard card. According to T-Mobile, the latest promo offer is its way of celebrating ‘Small Business Month’, which officially starts on May 1st, but T-Mobile says it is bringing the festivities early to small business across the nation. Either way, with T-Mobile not saying anything definitive about how long the offer will last, interested users need to act fast in order to snag the Mobile Wi-Fi device for free.

T-Mobile and ZTE had launched the Falcon Z-917 back in early February alongside a couple of entry-level smartphones called the LG K7 and the Alcatel Fierce XL. The device can support as many as ten simultaneous connections and supports LTE bands 2, 4 and 12. The ZTE Falcon weighs in at 110 grams and has a 2000mAh battery inside. The device was originally launched with a price-tag of $79.99, but T-Mobile is currently offering a flat $20 discount on it to anybody who’d like to get their hands on the device, irrespective of whether they’re business or retail customers.
