Well, the day finally came. After the CES announcement of T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, one of the largest US carriers is finally opening its grand establishment in the city of sin today. Even if you’re not anywhere near Nevada, T-Mobile PR team made sure you get to experience at least a part of the grand opening of its arena by producing a neat video that you can see below.
The sports and entertainment venue is located west of the Las Vegas Strip and is promising “a premium entertainment experience” to all of its ticket holders while T-Mobile customers will apparently always get VIP treatment, i.e. have access to advanced tickets and fast track entry, as well as the ability to upgrade seats. Concerts, basketball, UFC, hockey, and award shows are just some of the upcoming events which will be hosted in T-Mobile’s latest facility which is equipped with 20,000 seats, has five floors, and around 120 miles of space. The lower bowl of the arena boasts configurable telescopic seating which can create a clear line of sight for any kind of event, so extremely shallow and steep sightlines can be configured in a matter of minutes. The event floor is equipped with a huge, high-definition three-story scoreboard and the entire facility will offer a beverage program created by the local celebrity mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. In other words, expect cocktails. Lots and lots of cocktails. Naturally, a grand arena such as this one can’t exist without an accompanying nightclub. Its very own club is called Hyde Lounge and is located on the top floor. It’s as luxurious as one might expect, but it’s also just one of six premium lounge areas located in the building. Also, all of the premium balconies on public and VIP levels feature views of the Las Vegas Strip, The Plaza, and The Park.
Naturally, as T-Mobile Arena is sponsored by… well, T-Mobile, it’s equipped with all of the latest and greatest telecommunications and related technologies. Optimized 4G LTE network, charging stations, that kind of stuff. As the US carrier announced a couple of months ago, it plans on giving all of the visitors of its latest establishment “a chance to experience what it means to be an Un-carrier.”
