For many customers, promotions can be a driving force in choosing a particular service and set of products, although this isn’t the only deciding factor for the majority. Promotions can be a nice perk though, and T-mobile tends to offer up plenty of them, then again, so do the other major carriers. If you’re a T-Mobile customer, as well as a fan of America’s favorite past time, Baseball, then now is your chance to sign up for MLB.TV Premium and get access to the app/service for free when it normally costs customers $110 for the season, which allows access to stream all your favorite games.
T-Mobile customers have through April 10th to sign up for the MLB.TV Premium promotion and there is really little effort that has to be put in for customers to get access. T-Mobile notes that you will need to visit the promotional page from a mobile device and that the device will need to be connected to the T-Mobile network and not a WiFi connection, otherwise the promotional page will not recognize that you are on a device with T-Mobile service connected. Once that’s done, customers simply have to either register for or sing into an MLB account which shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete.
Customers will also need the MLB At Bat application if they want the ability to stream the games that come with the free season that T-Mobile is giving away, following a login of the MLB account into the app. While the promotion was probably conjured up with those who want to watch games on the go in mind, the MLB At Bat app does have Chromecast support, so you can stream the games from your smartphone or T-Mobile enabled tablet to the big screen if you wish. You’ll also be able to watch the games on a laptop if you prefer to watch the games that way, which might be a better option for watching the games on the go than a smartphone or tablet that carries a smaller screen. T-Mobile doesn’t mention any plan requirements, so chances are that any plan the carrier currently offers will allow customers to sign up for the free access.
