Buy A Samsung Galaxy Smartphone From T-Mobile & Get One Free

T-Mobile’s growth over the past couple of years has been nothing short of phenomenal, with the company recording a 10.6% year-on-year increase in its consolidated revenues during the first quarter of this year. What’s remarkable is that Q1, 2016 was also the seventh successive quarter for T-Mobile with over 1 million new postpaid subscribers, while the largest carrier in the country, Verizon Wireless, managed barely 64,000 net postpaid adds during the same period. While T-Mobile’s charismatic, outspoken and larger-than-life CEO, Mr. John Legere, may be an acquired taste for many, the indisputable fact still remains that the man has been one of the main driving forces behind the remarkable rise of the carrier from an also-ran to one of the major players in the American telecom scene today.

With a media-friendly CEO at the helm, T-Mobile’s management knows how to stay in the news, and the high-voltage promotional schemes the company keeps running from time to time does absolutely nothing to dispel that notion either. As part of its latest promo, the carrier is now offering a BOGO (Buy One Get One) deal on all Samsung smartphones. According to the announcement by the carrier, customers buying a Samsung handset on an EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) would get another Samsung handset of their choice for free by way of a prepaid MasterCard. The deal is valid on all Samsung Galaxy handsets currently being offered by the carrier, including not only premium models like the all-new Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, but also more humble devices, such as the Galaxy J7 and Galaxy Grand Prime mid-rangers.

Interested users would do well to note that this is a limited-time deal, although T-Mobile hasn’t clarified anything about how long it intends to run the promo. There’s another important caveat though; to get the second device for free, users will have to add a new line on the same account and maintain service on it for at least three months. Customers will be able to get reimbursed for the second device by going over to T-Mobile’s specially-curated promo page, and filling out the necessary info with the promo code ‘SAMSUNGBOGOMAY16’ within 30 days of buying the two devices. The carrier says that it will take about eight weeks to process each claim and ship the prepaid MasterCard to its rightful owner.
